You can always go with a shorter heel, even the ultra low kitten heel. Fall and Winter Shoe Detail Trends – Shoes with lots of detail are in style this fall and winter. This makes sense if you look at the highly detailed sandals and flats of this past spring and summer. If lots of detail does not go with your personal taste, do not be alarmed because the shoes of fall and winter are not as heavy on the detailing. Fall and winter shoes will be seen with lots of textures, fringe, and other subtle pieces of flair. When choosing a pair of shoes to purchase for this fall and winter, do take care not to choose something outrageously detailed or over the top. A wild looking shoe, no matter how trendy at the moment, will not have much longevity. In fact, a shoe like this may not even make it to the next year.
